while the Supremes have allowed it, putting the appeal on hold.

The Supreme Court is following procedure, and has told the appeals court to more expeditiously. The appeals court case is not on hold.

On the Medicare short visit one of the questions they asked about was depression. Seemed odd.

“Guam is even worse. It was a waste of my time and money to jump thru the hoops to have them on Guam, because I didnt have them. They were locked up at the local PD armory the entire time.”

Not any more!

On Guam you have to pass (or have passed) an NRA or military sponsored gun safety class and pass an FBI criminal background check. Doing that allows to you to purchase a firearm and carry it openly. CC is (If I remember right) $50.00 more and is SHALL issue, not May issue.

Honestly, I did not find the process onerous at all.

I still have my Guam Gun Licence

Never, ever tell a medical pro you have depression, sadness, or feel meloncholy. It opens the door for rights violations.

It was several levels of typical Micronesian beurocracy each with its own fees, requirements and waiting times. Glad they are past it!

Yes. I put in a correction on comment 9.

Hard to say, but probably a typo from me.

The cc license in total cost me about $200.00 and was good for 5 years. The police had a special location and I paid in one place. Until Texas passed Constitutional carry last year it was harder here.

I'm a big supporter of 2A but there *are* people who should be denied access to firearms. Some should be denied temporarily, some for life. Certain mental illnesses can be severe enough to warrant denial at least temporarily.

And yes,I know that the Maoists who have contempt for 2A can use "mental illness" as a pretext to deny one his/her 2A rights.
