Attack On Europe: Documenting Russian Equipment Losses During The 2022 Russian Invasion Of Ukraine

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it is not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

Anton Gerashchenko (Advisor to the Ukrainian Minister of the Interior)

@Gerashchenko_en Jun 2

I’ve been noticing a large number of pro-Russian trolls and bots on many Ukrainian and pro-Ukrainian accounts (mine included).

The information war continues, and Russia fights not just on the battlefield but for people’s minds as well. It wants to diminish support for Ukraine and muffle Ukrainian voices.

Friends, please know that every time you interact with Ukrainian and pro-Ukrainian content, you are making a contribution towards Ukrainian victory. I’m also very grateful to all journalists who continue informing people all over the world about Ukraine. Your work is greatly appreciated.

Thankful to all who stand with Ukraine!

Post 32 seems pretty mild.

I must be missing something.

M-58 MICLIC demining equipment at work.

BeauBo: "If so, then Armored/Mechanized incursions would be expected there within hours or days"

Perhaps UKR will monitor the demined area to see if RU responds to the demining activity by moving troops and equipment to the area.

I wonder if any of the mobniks have had any R&R or have they been stuck in trenches waiting for the counteroffensive.

“I wonder if any of the mobniks have had any R&R or have they been stuck in trenches waiting for the counteroffensive.”

Reportedly, few units get rotated (like Wagner), unless they are reduced to completely combat ineffective status. They sit on the line, or get shifted around the front, getting mobnik replacements to refill vacancies.

Most of the ground pounding trigger pullers on active duty in the Russian Army are deployed in the Ukraine - for the duration.

Russia tried to confuse Ukrainian air defense tonight by sending the air launched cruise missiles to fly in a big circle over central Ukraine several rotations before on flying to attack Kyiv. Big flop for Russia. All cruise missiles shot down far from central Kyiv. The ol’ spin move with the cruise missiles tonight is another sign of Putin desperation.

--- "...does it matter if they are posted 1 second, 1 minute or 1 hour apart?"

Indeed it does. Your urge to complain about this being noticed suggests just how much it matters.

As to your assertion in answer to your own question (so BBC of you), "No it does not." That's amusing, for you set yourself up as judge of the "content" as well as technical manner in which the posts are made. Nice try, but you are not a judge or jury for opinions other than your own. That's the stance of the liberal, the Leftist and the authoritarian.

Putin is sending VDV to replace Wagner in Bakhmut. This is just too funny,

Then NATO would go after Crimea - park missiles there pointing at Moscow and demand surrender. Or they’ll just keep killin’ ethnic Russians in the Ukraine. NATO won’t rest until a) demilitarized (in progress) or b) NATO enacts regime change in Russia.

NATO plans to rule the world - Russia is in the way.

Disrupting and attempting to shut down debate are the usual tactic of “the liberal, the Left and the authoritarian”. Birds of a feather...

The content of this thread is the war in the Ukraine.

You don’t post anything about that - just paranoid fantasies about the motivations of others.

The simple truth is that many of us like Speedy’s format of providing a curated list of posts right up front. He, and the rest of us chime in and discuss those daily events for the rest of the day and night. His initial collection of posts is just a convenient starting point

Exactly! Just like NATO parked nuclear missiles in Poland! And Latvia! And Estonia and Lithuania! And Romania, Hungary and Slovakia! NATO just wants nuclear war! Wait, what's that? We don't have any nuclear missiles in any of those countries? No nuclear weapons at all? Well, uh, never mind!

“Putin is sending VDV to replace Wagner in Bakhmut”

Reminds me of when they kept sending more helicopters to Chornobaivka Air Base.

More meat for the grinder- just in time to be encircled.

NATO wants regime change in Russia. All the countries you listed joined NATO (NATO controls them to some degree) except Russia. Therefore, NATO wants regime change in Russia. NATO is collecting all NATIONS, starting with the 31 now in the organization. They want to rule the world.

Gee, I can't possibly imagine why all those countries, having escaped from the Soviet Union, would want to seek protection and security against Russia. Living under Stalin, Khrushchev and Brezhnev was a virtual paradise! Russkiy Mir is like heaven on earth!

RuZZian Girl, nice to hear from you again.

I’m not Russian and I have never posted in support of Russia.

I am an American of Irish and English descent.

Why did you lie when you said you didn’t read my daily thread?

I don’t read your daily excessive propaganda dump. I doubt anybody reads all of that.

I do read the occasional comment when it pops up on my timeline.

Stop calling me a Russian and stop calling me a liar.

There you go again - pretending Russia=Soviet Union! Pretty pathetic when you guys keep saying things like Putin=Hitler; Russia=Stalin; Putin’s invasion = Holodomor. It’s pure propaganda.

If you want to claim that Russia has repudiated the Soviet Union, you must explain why the Russians still worship the Lenin corpse in the Red Square, why their troops in Ukraine fly Soviet flags, why they erect Lenin statues in occupied areas of Ukraine and why Putin himself said that the collapse of the Soviet Union was a tragedy (instead of an opportunity for a new beginning).

You must also explain why the Ukrainians shouldn’t be afraid of being targeted for genocide when Putin said that the Ukrainian nation didn’t exist and why other Eastern European nations shouldn’t be afraid they are the next Russian target when former Russian president Medvedev said they were actually Russian territories.

The “NATO” is coming crowd is interesting. Before Putin invaded NATO was already on Russia’s border and what had happened? Nothing squat, in fact NATO was pretty disjointed and most countries were not living up to their spending requirements quite the opposite which is evident by how they have had to scramble to build up ammunition production capabilities.
If NATO gave a person of the year award Putin would be the hands down winner 2 years in a row
The only “threat” to Russia from NATO was a damper on putins dreams of a greater Russia
As a result of his actions not only is NATO living up to its spending requirements it is exceeding then and what was thought impossible is now not only possible it is happening Finland had joined NATO and Sweden soon will. Add to that Poland is creating a much more capable military and Ukraine already is.
Putin is a master strategist (for NATO)

Well said, better than I have. Their interest in this particular thread and the amount of time they spend on issues other than Ukraine is curious
