I’m actually surprised at this article, in that there was no “orange man bad” vitriol!
I’ve knocked a lot of doors for various candidates over the years, and especially for state and municipal races it’s only me and a handful of others who show up.
If even 10% of Republicans who spend hours online venting to fellow conservatives went out and actually talked to undecided voters we would win every election.
It’s all about the money. You can raise lots of money for campaign expenses from the unsuspecting supporters but be sure that a lot of it will stick to the fingers of expensive staff and consultants who will downplay the efficacy of volunteers and fail to recruit them.
