It’s probably accurate - he’s at 18% in the poll. 18% sounds about right. Making an article acting like that indicates positive news for Republicans is obviously bogus. The only thing that could possibly result in good news for Republicans is if another Republican also shows strength and there are so many Democrats that the two Republicans somehow place first and second with very low percentages. That is the only, very unlikely, scenario that a Republican could take this seat.
The near universal theme in the responses to this thread are, the democrats cheat and Republicans have no chance, which is likely true.
Has anyone ever thought of this angle, this poll is designed to make Republican voters really think they have a chance, if only voters would send them a few extra dollars
If polls like this continue and you hear the Republican candidate start saying, look at the polls, I have a chance but I need money to compete, then hold on to your wallet, you’re getting played
