Let’s go Brandon.
I’m at the point where I am glad Johnson won and I hope he gets every agenda item passed into law. Chicagoans deserve it.
Where might they move to? Delaware? Texas? Virgina?
The new mayor may not realize what a can of worms he’s opening up.
Don’t threaten, just do it.
If they were smart, out of Illinois to a much more pleasant business friendly state.
Don’t threaten, just do it.
Sanity, bears repeating.
Agreed. Schadenfreude.
Think of your employees, Mr. Terry. Do you really want them dodging bullet and knives coming and going to work every day?
Ridiculous that the commodity exchanges are in NY and CHI.
When we read of these wealth inequalities between states-
both of these exchanges are responsible for tons of wealth over a long time while the commodities largely come out of red states.
Whenever the left allows one of their own to be pushed from office, LOOK OUT!
The replacement will ALWAYS be worse.
It’s illegal gambling, move them to Vegas.
They just need some servers in any state they decide to move to. It is not like the old days where people had to be in the same building yelling BUY! or SELL!
I wonder how many of the traders actually live in Chicago?
McDonald’s is currently HQd in Chicago… if they move somewhere else you know there is a problem.
Chicago mayor posted “First We Get The Money” proposal to raise $12B/yr.
Pass the Popcorn
they obviously dont care about that otherwise they would have moved already. Now they see it costing them money...
Dear CME: don’t come to Tennessee.
Trades are electronic and the racks of servers can be housed in a warehouse in any secured non-descript warehouse. They no longer need the Chicago site.
The Exchange building could be re-purposed for homeless or illegal immigrants. Vote blue.
It’s fun spending other people’s money.
