Y’all can’t compare the government and civilian world.
Civilian world you have one employer and you serve at their pleasure.
Government, elected position, Ideally you have several employers called voters. If it was a Local and fair election, 50% of the voters +1 or more elected you. Those that didn’t vote vote for you are useless and should be ignored. At least that is how modern politicians act.
There are three ways to get rid of a “bad apple”.
#1 Bide your time and wait for the next election.
#2 Recall election.
#3 Kill them( this is usually favored by the minority of voters being ignored).
If y’all are stupid enough to elect an idiot, you get what you deserve and the smart people will move on to greener pastures.
