Hey man, we all ‘typo’ when we tweet … it happens. And we’ve seen some silly gun-grabbing tweets but this one? WOOF and YIKES all in one.
If you’re tweeting for say some very large even GLOBAL organization you might want to double-check what your tweet says beyond just spellcheck. Not to mention hashtags are a different beast entirely so check, check, and check again.
They tweeted this in response to the Allen, TX shooting (and it was up for several hours):

I just tested autocorrect by typing incest. Typing incest appears right next to invest, meaning computer assumes typist meant invest. Normally when a different word appears next to one I’ve typed, it autocorrects to that word. Doesn’t do it for incest. WTF?

People keep saying UN typing incest was a typo for invest, but I just read through the responses tweets. This one says original #IncestInPeace was still up 4 HOURS later! That says strongly that the #IncestInPeace tweet was intentional:
