IMHO, this is an example that us Christians should apply the lessons of Revelation and other eschatology teachings even if we're not experiencing the actual mark of the beast of Revelation 13. Even if you believe Jesus will take us up in a rapture before the great tribulation -- there's evidently some level of Christian persecution we'll experience in the here and now, even in the U.S.

We should all learn from Jack Phillip's example and stick to Jesus like glue with a no-matter-what-no-matter-who kind of attitude. In the end Jesus wins and that means Jack will too. That means you and I will too if we don't forsake Jesus.

I believe wholeheartedly that the most organized anti-God cult in the U.S. today is the Democrat Party. They are more about forcing hedonism onto our culture than they are about actual political positions like tax policies and such.
