This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it is not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

“Turkish President Erdogan Hospitalized After Suffering Heart Attack”
Too much of a headline to pass up, even if incorrect. Turkey has a big role in regional events, including Russia and the Ukraine.
Clearly something is wrong - he stopped an interview on the air, and has cancelled upcoming events. At first they said “stomach bug” but in the last few hours some have said heart attack.
He is 69. He was very athletic when young, as a soccer player. Some have cast doubt on the credibility of the heart attack story, because it implies that Erdogan has a heart.
If nothing else it has to cost a couple of points for him to be seen as less strong.
It does highlight that he is not eternal or inevitable - makes people think about what lies after Erdogan.
I was thinking that to Muslim Turks, it might be seen as weakness.

The Ukrainian Defense Industrial Complex is developing unmanned torpedoes:
-TLK 150: electric motor, range 100 km, 20-50 kg of explosives.
-TLK 400: range 1200 km, 500 kg of explosives.
-TLK 1000: range 2000 km, 5000 kg of explosives.

It is stated: that the device will be capable to stay in standby mode for up to 3 months. The guidance system will use GPS (if available) or the inertial navigation system in conditions of no GPS (underwater) or during signal jamming.
(5000 kg of explosives sounds like trouble for the Kerch Bridge, and would be tons of fun swimming into the submarine pen at Sevastopol)
ISW 26 April 2023:
“Key Takeaways
Russia appears to be continuing a deliberate depopulation campaign in occupied areas of Ukraine in order to facilitate the repopulation of Ukrainian territories with Russians.
Competition among Russian private military companies (PMCs) is likely increasing in Bakhmut.
The Kremlin continues measures to codify conditions for domestic repression.
Comments made by Russian officials and prominent voices in the Russian information space continue to highlight a pervasive anxiety over potential Ukrainian counteroffensive actions.
Chinese President Xi Jinping explicitly recognized Ukraine’s sovereignty and independence, stating that mutual respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity are foundational to Ukrainian-Chinese relations in a conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The Kremlin is likely attempting to reassure Armenia that it is a reliable partner despite the fact that the war in Ukraine is limiting Russia’s ability to play a larger role in mediating the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The Kremlin may attempt to use conscripts to maintain peacekeeping operations in Nagorno Karabakh and preserve relations with Armenia and other Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member states.
Ukrainian sources reported that Russian forces did not conduct any offensive operations along the Kupyansk-Svatove-Kreminna line.
Russian forces made gains within Bakhmut and north of Avdiivka.
Russian milbloggers continue to argue amongst themselves about Ukrainian activity along the Dnipro River in Kherson Oblast.

Russian milcor (military correspondent) Zhivov says Ukraine is using FPV drones en-masse; recently, one flew into the window of a KAMAZ truck killing both men inside. He says Ukraine has a 3-6 month advantage in this new technology, and the worst is yet to come.

The U.S. House of Representatives is going to consider a resolution demanding the return of #Ukraine to the borders of 1991.
This was announced by one of the authors of the initiative, a member of the Republican Party, Joe Wilson.
In addition, the document calls for Ukraine’s accession to #NATO, and also requires Russia to pay reparations.
Voice of America reports:
“Ukraine’s military forces have all the equipment, weapons and ammunition they need to launch their long-awaited spring offensive, according to a top U.S. military commander.”...
“”We sat down with the Ukrainians, with our Ukrainian colleagues, and we calculated the amount of materiel they would need,” (Supreme Commander Allied Forces Europe, GEN) Cavoli, who also serves as NATO’s top military commander, told lawmakers when asked about Ukraine’s preparations.
“I am very confident that we have delivered the materiel that they need and will continue a pipeline to sustain their operations.””...
“Assistant U.S. Defense Secretary Celeste Wallander insisted to lawmakers Wednesday that Kyiv’s most critical needs were being met.
“While on the list, Western, modern aircraft, is about eighth on the list,” she said, saying air defense systems, artillery and armored capabilities remain the priorities...
Cavoli and Wallander also warned lawmakers against overconfidence, cautioning that despite the heavy losses in Ukraine, key parts of the Russian military machine remained unscathed.
“Although Russia’s conventional military capabilities are diminished, Russia continues to present serious risk as it retains capabilities in nuclear, cyber, information operations, counterspace and undersea warfare,” Wallander said.
“Much of the Russian military has not been affected negatively by this conflict,” Cavoli added, pointing to Russia’s fleet of submarines.
“Their patrols into the Atlantic and throughout the Atlantic are at a high level,” he warned. “More active than we’ve seen them in years.”
