I used to work in Detroit Medical Center NICU. I tried to offer insight to help Allegra to cope with his or her ‘fit of pique.’
I have since been called to ordained ministry. However, his pique statement in no way offers any rationale for justification of the Russian Invasion & slaughter of innocents by Putin both Russian military conscripts, Ukraine military & civilians.
IMO, it would help Allegra to gain a deeper historic as well as more complete contemporary analysis of Russian invasion.
Regardless, I think it is most important to each of us to provide a balance of information regarding the Putin ‘Special Military Operation’ invasion of a sovereign nation. We must all avoid being driven to accept canned “group think.” To just accept ‘spoon-fed’ information as valid, to potentially regurgitate later, is just an evasion of our personal intellectual responsibility. The true value of this Free Republic site is in sharing information to provide the opportunity to evaluate evidence to find truth.
I have clarified before that it is not my intention or responsibility to “change” or form the opinion for some one else. Hopefully, facts presented will assist to present a more comprehensive understanding of an issue.

I’m not the one who mentioned having a “fit of pique.” I was responding to the poster who (justifiably) did. Try to keep it straight.
I’m offering insight to help you do just that.
