The Battle for Bakhmut reminds me of the Battle of Milne Bay and the Kokoda Track Campaign. Both looked and were bad for the Australians, right up to the point where they started winning. When regular army and airborne are called in to support Wagner, that shows Wagner is getting ground down and worn out. Prigozhin is worried that if there is a Ukrainian Spring Offensive, Wagner will get mauled if Ukraine concentrates on them. He wants to wrap this up, and I don't think he can.

Where is all the cash and materiel going? If you gave me 5 billion or so, I could hire a mercenary army that would make Wagner look like choirboys. Toss in another 10 billion for hardware, and a company of Green Berets for the training, and this war could be prosecuted to the old 2020 borders. So, all told, probably 50 billion orless. Again, where’s all the excess cash and hardware going.

We all know where it’s going, it’s getting laundered and ending up in all the wrong pockets. This war is such a money-making cash cow, that the corrupt DNC, WEC, Soros, Biden, Zelensky, the Uke generals, and all the rest of the usual suspects. Frankly, it wouldn’t surprise me if the Chinese have found a way to make a buck and have access to all kinds of sophisticated western military hardware to reverse engineer.
