I am career military. Ditto my brother, our father, and grandfathers. My son who joined The Young Marines at 8 years old has wanted to follow in our family tradition.
We have been witnessing and discussing this exact issue for a few years. He decided he does not want anything to do with today’s Woke military. He did not make this decision without a good deal of forethought. He made this decision with great sadness. I sadly concurred with his decision.
Told a young family member that as a white Christian straight male, he has no future in the military. Better of going to tech school. None of my children will serve the military leadership are racists or woke.
