Well non-moving targets are much harder to hit, ya know....
A Vice President of Marketing is low level? Ha.
Kind of a “marketing stand-down.”
Sounds like the kind of order that would come from higher up than Budweiser.
The VP Horse face said she ran the company.
Budweiser could do a 180 in less than a week here, and I’d still NOT even consider buying that swill. They showed their true colors.
Hope they loose a sh!t ton of market share!!!!!
Agreed. They can say what they want. I will believe it when that women is fired … without severance.
There has not yet been any significant stock price change.
Cue Carole King, singing “It’s Too Late, Baby”...
LOL...Yeah,,,the Ole “we didn’t know” ploy...
She still is working, no?
All you need to know.
Here’s an ad line for em: “Budweiser; the King of Tranny fluids!!!”
“This Tranny is for YOU!!!!”
The author meant to write “back-pedaling”, no?
Ever since Budweiser became a Foreign Owned Beer I refused to support ANY of their products. They sold out to a bunch of Euro-Weenies from Belgium.
I also hope they lose a Sh!t ton of $$$$$$$. Also, there is no way “senior management” didn’t know about this stunt.
What genius thought that a proper marketing campaigning for 20 year olds involved transgenderism and not young people doing exciting things, like river rafting or wing suiting?
The Daily Mail had an article stating
While media attention has focused on Bud Light VP Alissa Heinerscheid for her potential role overseeing the campaign, Boyd argued that responsibility for overseeing protocols to approve new marketing campaigns ultimately falls with the company's CEO.
Anheuser-Busch is led by US CEO Brendan Whitworth, a former Marine lieutenant, CIA officer, and Harvard Business School graduate, who joined A-B in 2014 after serving as a senior executive at Frito-Lay.
And yet, Ms Heinerscheid clearly was in command of their new inclusive direction.
If they fire Heinerscheid, they'll get beat up by the wokesters. AND former customers will stay away and they'll suffer a permanent loss of market share.
If they keep her on, they'll gain a 0.1% market share that's overwhelmed by the aforementioned permanent loss of market share.
NOTE to Board of Directors. HIRE MORE GRADS from Harvard.
Hah.
She all but said she basically owned Bud Light.
Every year a guy in the office of the company where I worked would make a vice-president production versus profit chart after the annual report came out. Vice president is kind of like getting a KBE in England, cheaper than a gold watch.
“The Daily Wire reported that the decision to feature Mulvaney in an advertising campaign aimed at younger customers was not authorized by any high-ranking executives in the company.”
BS. Sorry, that is illogical. I guess they would rather we think they are incompetent rather than stupid.
Belgian monks make excellent beers.
