Speedy in Texas and Nextrush do the same thing on his threads. There is a lot being reported daily. Posting multiple articles in a single thread keeps the forum from getting cluttered.

Let's be honest. Ukraine threads tend to bring out the worst on this forum. There is a lot of spamming, trolling, and brigading. There are threads so heated DU, 4chan and Reddit look civil compared to FR now.

Posting multiple sources per thread is a counter to the abuse that is now commonplace.

Multiple posts on thread retains focus to that of subject.

Plus, it makes topic searches more efficient.

Yeah, like morons who virtue signal like middle school girls by putting the Ukrainian flag in their tagline.

Posting lots of links and stories on the same thread makes sense in that it results in less “spamming” of the forum, as you said. I am simply curious as to why the obsession.

I agree about the Ukraine threads. The great majority resemble Twitter slugfests at best, which is why I have stayed off of most of them. Nothing to be learned in them, just nasty insults and wild propaganda from both sides. Once in a while, there is one populated by thoughtful and knowledgeable and reasonable (and polite!) people, though. At least there’s that. The “vax” threads can get very weird and ugly, too.
