“My little cousin just turned 22 last week. He is partially Ukrainian and left America almost exactly one year ago to fight. I found out a few hours ago he was killed, but the details haven’t been disclosed. The embassy is trying to send his body/remains back but we don’t know what to expect. I’m so proud of him, but so conflicted on losing him. I just need to tell someone, as my family isn’t talking about it yet.
