There is no reason this should be so. What does matter is less oil. Period. Less oil does not mean increased price. It means an order for oil does not get filled. Someone, somewhere does not get fuel. THAT is what it means.
And eventually that someone will be transport of food to a mouth. This is the fundamental truth of oil so aggressively avoided.
