Maybe Trump wanted to see if there actually were classified documents around or other classified documents he didn’t know we’re there. If they were safely locked up in a safe/secure area per earlier govt security requests, then what is the problem?
I once put two $20 bills in a govt publication as a page marker and forgot about them. Years later I needed that publication for something I was writing about, and when I took it off my bookshelf, out they came. My wife and I had a nice dinner that night, especially since we were almost out of money.
Nobody can remember all the documents they have in their file drawers or boxes. Somewhere I have a great letter by actor actor and patriot Ward Bond to a friend about keeping MARXIST actor Charlie Chaplin out of the U.S. in the early 1950s. Has a good historical value about patriotic actors trying to clean out Hollywood of a deeply embedded Communist presence.

that go back to 1954 (first items were about both UFOs as well as the space programs in which my relatives were involved - Vanguard, etc).

After the decades of crimes Hillary and Bill have committed, who would have thought we’d see Trump arrested first. What’s amazing is that there are still people out there who think Hillary will someday be arrested.
I miss interpreted your response. I was referring to “FreeReign”’s comment. My mistake. I think you are pro Trump and do not want Desantis, is that correct?
If that's the case, then I apologize profusely, but it wasn't clear -- especially after your first reply about it being a good thing MAGA is wasting time on DeSantis. It's not.
One of my simple, informal rules in life is "it's nothing until it's something," and so far DeSantis is a non issue to me because he hasn't declared he's running. Until he does, he's not (in my book).
On the other hand, after J6 and now Trump's upcoming perp walk, political persecution and prosecution IS something, and it's becoming something very serious. Yet, MAGA folks and FReepers are more consumed with this DeSantis nonsense.
