The tweet is misattributed in four different ways. It is not from @PelmeniPusha, not from the The Japan Times, which is not owned by China, with the implication these are pro-Russian sources. It is from the Euromaidan Press, a pro-Ukrainian news service, "Ukraine not launching counteroffensive yet due to ammo, weapon shortage – President Zelenskyy", March 25, 2023, using the Japanese newspaper Yomiuri Shimbun as a source (which is, to be clear) not Chinese owned. It is Hinkle's own tweet, misrepresenting another twitter user, three newspapers, and implied bias the newspapers have.
Hinkle used his own tweet, posted a week ago, with all those misrepresentations, as the basis for his own YouTube video. A video where his own misattributed tweet is used as a starting point for common one sided pro-Russian talking points about "peace" when Russia initiated and escalated the conflict for years.
That is acceptable for "winning" internet arguments by Gish Galloping, spamming, and shouting others down. In the real world, where adults make decisions, noisemakers like Hinkle are viewed the same as Lyndon LaRouche, are marked as cranks and ignored.
