It was never about making a case that would stick, it was about setting a precedent that someone else could use to encourage another grand jury in a different venue to say “well, we wouldn’t be the ones setting the precedent here.”
I don't think a conviction is really the objective here - continuing this mess through the year and hoping the Georgia persecutions will bear better fruit appears to be what the WaPo has in mind. They're hoping the distraction will be more effective against Trump's campaign than helpful but it looks like the opposite is likely to be the case, which is what they're really sweating. All IMHO, of course.
The charges were never the issue. The issue is always the revolution.

This ‘flash’ just means the democrat ‘elite’ doesn’t like the Bragg case because it’s uniting the country against Police State thugs.
The case may be BS, but my personal boycott is still in effect....
If the point of origin is New York, it goes back on the shelf.
