Russian Su-24 shot down near Bakhmut this morning.
Should be more of this if they are becoming more active in CAS.
Is this a sign of desperation, change of tactics and/or depleting of other munitions?
Continued loss of artillery systems and MRLS seems to be putting a pinch on them. Barrel degradation from number of rounds fired as well as losses of entire systems esp SPG is something I have wondered when those effects will start to show.
A shoot down near Bakhmut would indicate a "troops-in-contact" CAS mission.
MANPAD (Stinger) was probably the munition used.
