The French played right into the hands of the Germans. The Krauts were as ruthless as the Russians. Then they decide they won’t be dominated again so they go nuclear at the the expense of French Polynesians. Blew up a Greenpeace ship in New Zealand. They brought out the best in Franz Fanon who died in D.C. with CIA escorts.
Just why are we involved with them? The Brits needed an ass-whuppin’ and we gave it to them. The Irish and the folks in India still hated them long afterwards. Some people will never get it-others will. Ask the Japanese.

France’s alliance with Czar Nicky is what caused the whole mess in the first place.
Germans attacked France in 1914, to free them up to attack Russia. Unfortunately, they decided to go through Belgium, which brought the Brits (and subsequently the US), into the fight.
But no alliance with Nicky, and WWI would have been just a fight between Germany and Russia.
I can speak to this. My paternal grandmother was 1/2 Cajun and 1/2 Irish. Her maiden name was Daigle, which is a very prolific name here in Louisiana.
Yes, Cajuns (sometimes affectionately known as coon-asses) can be crazy, but often that is leavened with their love of life and friendliness.
Cajuns came to South Louisiana from the French-speaking provinces of Canada in the mid-1700s after British Canadians captured the area and drove them out.
Fishing and hunting skills come naturally to a coon-ass, as that is how their ancestors survived in the bayous of South Louisiana.
Their cuisine is world-class. I just finished a bowl of gumbo for lunch today.
The offshore oil industry worldwide was first built by folks with names like Fontenot, Landry, Broussard, Guidry, and LeBlanc.
On balance, this ethnic group has been a net plus to the human race, in my opinion. They know how to work. I've seen it with my own eyes.

They are not. Of course, there are a lot of things they aren’t interested in. Both yesterday and today, the WSJ had front page articles on Trump’s rally. Derogatory framing of course. Except for maybe one or two opinion pieces by Kimberly Strassel, there has been no reporting by WSJ on the vile treatment of the January 6th defendants, and very little mention at all regarding the corruption of the Biden family. And, certainly not anything on the front page. No criticisms of anything the Biden administration does is allowed.
There is no reporting of the riots in France, no reporting of the Dutch election results, or the issues remaining in regards to Afghanistan. There is no reporting of other international issues of importance that may show that the left’s positions are not really supported, even internationally to the extent that is pretended.
There used to be one or two news-sites you could trust to report the facts and follow the story where ever it led no matter what it uncovered and who was implicated. That is no longer the case.

Start taking away entitlements and Americans will get pretty “gutsy,” too.

But fighting changes in social programs is ok to them, since it doesn’t directly take on their process of handing the country over to their masters in the EU and WEF.
There are many reason the French are up in arms and setting fires—the pension age thing is just the spark of a smoldering fuse that has been going for years. The French are more gusty than the Americans who put up with a fake election, fake Covid reports, mandates, and a puppet president in the back pocket of China. Political Jan-6 Prisoners and a Media forced social change shoved down the throats of the American Public. Americans will never revolt even when they close churches, teach socialism to their kids, and change the National anthem. Wait till they change the flag. We do zip. Viva La France!
