Interesting article on France, its failing welfare system, uncontrolled immigrants, and the current unrest and riots.

From the article: "Why does France need this massively generous welfare system? In large part to support the migrants who were brought into the country to serve as a work force as the native French population, which had stopped reproducing, aged and retired. A 2016 Brookings study noted that while fifteen percent of native French fifteen- to twenty-nine-year-olds were unemployed, fully forty percent of migrants from North Africa, sub-Saharan Africa, and Turkey of that age were jobless."

HOW do you hire a person who does not speak/ read/ write/ understand the local language???
How do you hire a person that you cannot check background for skills & NO CRIMINAL PAST???
Well, with all the migrants, at least we wont have to suffer the sound of the french language making our ears bleed for too much longer other than the Franglish in Canadia

When I’ve gone to Paris, I heard more Arabic than French.

This is interesting as there is quite a passion for people to retire while they are still for the most part able-bodied.

It’s odd... The French become passionate when you raise their retirement age... But when the German’s came marching into town, they waved Nazi flags and cheered on Hitler.
They really do need to get their priorities figured out.

Well. They had the same government for a good 4 years under The Reich.
That’s a long time for the French. So they had that going for them.😉

And Joan of Arc was martyred for this future Macron insanity? She is probably turning in her grave as we speak.

**The classic 1966 movie Is Paris Burning?***
Saw it way back then! Now got it on DVD. Very hard to find.
Interesting scene where a man with glasses urges young Parisians to riot, then we find the man is a Gestapo agent and the young people are then shot.
Reminds me of something similar in January of 2020.

Maybe I just don’t understand the French, but I find it difficult to understand why moving the retirement age from 62 to 64 is causing all these protests and violence, when the people of France are mostly silent on their government allowing widespread Arab and African immigration into France. What am I not understanding here?

France isn’t burning as bad as Hitler wanted Paris to in 1944, not yet.
But there are some demonstration fires being lit on doors and trash containers, bus stop shelters etc. etc.

Most of the folks in N. Africa and sub-Saharan Africa are Francophones—that’s why they migrate to France.
