MacGregor is an entertainer. His act is portraying an analyst who is never right. The best part of his act is that he has some people convinced he is legit. It’s entertaining to watch.

Macgregor was good during Desert Storm in the 1990s. Now he is a bitter has been. 20 year retirees who claim they have sources with fly on the wall accesses, telling the real story, are selling a gullible audience want it wants to hear. He is selling a narrative to the political right, just as Robert Fisk was during the Gulf War, when according to him the allies were losing all the way to Baghdad. No who Macgregor was or what the truth is now, he is still a con artist.
