Keep that in mind if things get really ugly and Brandon either can't run again or loses and he pardons himself and friends. He can only pardon persons for federal crimes, not state crimes. In all likelihood, tax evasion is involved at both the federal and state level. State AGs will be under tremendous pressure to try these charges and Brandon cannot pardon state tax cases.
