You cannot be serious. The legitimate votes for Trump were beating Biden by a landslide. On election night Trump was far ahead in the bellweather states of Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, and Georgia - but overnight, votes magically appeared to favor Biden. Only someone living in a cave, or a Democrat, would claim otherwise.

Well, so far Trump has been the only one, the only one, who has actually done anything. I think that is the key here. Many have talked about doing it, sure. The problem is, going up against the political establishment can be quite hazardous to your health as we have seen.
Trump and his family have been ruthlessly targeted by the system and continue to be. Not many want that for themselves and I don’t believe DeSantis wants that for himself or his family either. I don’t think he wants to walk into that buzzsaw and why would he? After all, Desantis seems to enjoy the support of The Washington republican establishment which means he has already chosen his path.
And about the topic of who is more likely to win and get elected. It’s doubtful that anybody who doesn’t meet with the approval of Washington politicos can win The Presidency with our current election system and that includes Trump.
Trump is a long shot for sure but anybody that poses a threat to the power of Washington would be a long shot too. I think Trump’s chances of winning hinge on just how bad it gets in America and the world. If the situation becomes dire enough, they may have to let him win. There is also the outside chance of an awakening in the public with just how everything is turning to shit.
If the political establishment is willing to let DeSantis win then DeSantis is not going to be a political reformer and will just be another in a long line of GOP Presidents who nibbled around the edges as America continues to decline.

It’s not going to change DeSantis supporters’ minds, because they are people incapable of seeing Trump’s superiority to the other candidates and possible candidates.
Trump is saying the right thing to his supporters, telling them that he as determined as ever and will never abandon them or let them down in any other way.
And he’s telling the undecideds—there are not many of those on FR but they’re out there in the rest of the country—that he is very much in the fray, keeping his ideas and intentions in the news.

By "legitimate" I assume you mean "not mail in". Anyone who was paying attention knew that many states count in-person ballots, which skewed more towards Trump, before mail-in ballots, which skewed more towards Biden.
Remind me again how Trump's hand-picked candidates did in the 2022 midterms. You know, the same election cycle in which DeSantis easily won re-election using the exact same voting machines as in 2020.
It's also worth noting that while Trump won the Electoral College in 2016, he lost the popular vote to Hillary Clinton of all people.

Trump’s candidates did great, except in districts and counties where there was obvious, organized election fraud. If not for fraud, the GOP would have a solid lead in the House, and would have won the Senate. Of course, as a left-wing news junkie, you would not know that, or don’t care.
For the record, Kari Lake also won the Arizona Governor’s race, only to be cheated out of it. Certainly you know that, don’t you?

Desantis would have lost the 2018 election if not for an early and strong endorsement by Trump. Desantis eventually won a very close election in a runoff with a gay drug addict who had earlier conceded, but changed his mind and asked for a runoff after being made aware that there were “many more uncounted ballots than was originally reported.” Imagine that?

Trump also won the legitimate vote in that election, probably by a landslide. Even many democrats hated Hillary, and still do.

I would fully be on board for Trump is he didn’t do these asinine juvenile attacks on fellow republicans. Especially one that is actually doing good things in Florida.
Would I vote for Trump? Personally, yes. But lost of people won’t, because of these attacks.
I tried to explain why I think these comments of Trump’s are necessary. I guess you don’t agree. That’s fine. I just think that without commenting, he’d just be Harpo or George W. Bush.
I’m glad Trump makes all of his “mean” little remarks. It woke me up to the fact that, although DeSantis is a good governor, so was Jeb. That doesn’t negate the fact that he is the Swamp’s latest purchase, and is now wholly owned and controlled by them. That makes him now Ron DeSwamp.
IMO, their strategy is for him to toss MAGA supporters red meat and lure them in, which they hope will accomplish their one and only goal right now: Get Trump. DeSwamp is just their latest tool, all shiny and new.

DeSantis’s SOLE mission is to divide MAGA and Get Trump. If he were truly MAGA, he would have never even considered running in 2024.

I will never vote for DeSantis. It would be the same as voting for McCain, Romney, and Bush. And look where that got us. If that means Republicans lose, it wouldn’t really matter, because the fight is not: Republican vs. Democrat. It is MAGA vs. Uniparty.
This is without question the “main draw” Trump has to his remaining supporters. They confuse his tough talk on his website with actually getting things done. They think he’s “fighting” for them by simply posting things on the internet. Most of these same people also follow Q fantasy, even to this day. It’s a disconnect from understanding people like DeSantis who actually get things done, instead of just making empty promises like Q and Trump.

This comment is pure fantasy as well. Trump was completely owned by the swamp while he was President. He never locked up Hillary. He never gave us Obama’s long form birth certificate. He literally appointed swamp members into his own cabinet, not to mention all the other high level positions like Wray at the FBI. Nor did he ever fire any of them! The only person he ever fired was General Michael Flynn. Think about that for a second, seriously. Yet you still believe Trump has some sort of power over the swamp, when, if anything, he proved they have complete power over him. Or maybe he’s just a phony plant who’s been fooling people all along, just like Q.
