Not counting the 5 dollar bid for a three legged pedestal, there are a host of items that are going for less than pennies on the original purchase dollar price.

Better hurry though, the auction expires today, 28 February 2023, unless extended!

Amazing how fear and panic contribute to very poor decision-making, right?

Here’s a snap shot of some of the items on offer, expiring 7 pm tonight EST:

I just discovered this article and can't believe I missed out on so many good deals on items that were unavailable or cost mega-dollars just two years ago! I could own thousands of brand new face shields!

Federal and State budgets can't be reduced, but they can spend millions of our dollars due to an "emergency" and then just toss the purchases in the trash bin or sell them for pennies once they decide they are not needed. There is no need to save the items for later, for if another emergency occurs, you just take more money from the tax-payer to deal with it. Easy Peasy!

Well I stocked up on canned food and baking supplies in Feb 2020, a month before the shortages.

I just had a house cleaner go through the hoard and toss everything that wasn’t expired. Most was. Hired a trash company to come haul it away.

Was it a giant waste of money? I look at it like insurance. Better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it. I was able to go to the store at least every two weeks and get some fresh groceries. So I didn’t use as much of the canned stuff as I thought.

I never once worried about having enough to eat. I wish I had managed it better. Taken food to the food bank before it expired rather than send it to the dump.

If I had been sorting through it, I’d have probably saved a lot of expired stuff. But It’s really nice to have some sections of the house uncluttered.

Whatever happened to that Billion Dollars “worth” of masks that California Governor Newsom supposedly bought from the Chinese in the VERY early days of the COVID SCAREDEMIC? A lot of cash was pocketed by a lot of people in that deal.
