The ugly side of genetic evolution is the high number of people that must be murdered to make progress. Evolution has two steps: something must live, but something else must die. In humans, most evolution occurs during tribal warfare.

Ancestors of Europeans got their higher IQ from killing off the Neanderthals, which was a brutal task that took hundreds of generations to complete. Africans did not participate in that genocide. Jewish Germans got their even higher IQ by unspeakable further violence over more recent generations.

Any pride about high IQ might also include a prayer for the billions of humans on the receiving end of it.
