>>I don’t care for O’Dea myself, but do you really think the muzzie Oz was any better? Why does Trump expect everyone to bow down before him like he’s some sort of deity? Does this not make you uncomfortable? Isn’t that demand of idolization more like the satan reference you dropped on DeSantis?<<

Don’t be silly. The only game in town for the left (which includes RINOs) is to get rid of Trump; and they will do that by any means necessary, including voter fraud, endless litigation and slander, and even buying the support of a well-known conservative to oppose him.

It is true that Trump is not as pure as Jesus Christ (although many conservatives foolishly expect him to be.) But he is the only one with the political and economic skills, and conservative infrastructure, that can stop our republic from falling off a cliff; and he is the only one who is not beholden to the left (which includes RINOs) — that is, he cannot be bought!

As for Oz, there were not a lot of choices in a heavily-democrat-controlled state. As an aside, I seem to recall that Oz opposed Fauci’s “strategy.”

My wife’s distrust of DeSantis was initially precipitated by his outrageous support for O’Dea, and his cumulative friendliness with the Bush’s, Ryan, McConnell, Club for Growth, and other RINO’s, which is short-sighted. In general, she believes they are playing him like a fiddle. Perhaps DeSatan was a little harsh. DePlayed may be more appropriate. We shall see.

>>>>Trump was highly critical of big-money politics. He did not ask for money from any big donors...Trump could have gotten along just fine with grass roots donations.<<<
>>That’s just simply not correct, and you should know better. There’s plenty of articles out there about how Trump was courting big money donors while simply playing an act that he didn’t need them. It’s typical for Trump, say one thing, do another. That behavior is one of the main reasons why he’s not getting any big money this time, at least not so far. And if he solely has to rely on grass roots donors, he has no chance of winning.”

I would be interested in reading some of those articles from conservative outlets.

>>>>Trump believed what Pence’s team of scientists told him. Trump also knew it was a bio-virus from Wuhan, and, in the beginning he had no idea how dangerous it was. What would you had done, without hindsight?
>>Trump has claimed MANY times in interviews he overruled Fauci on the warp speed vaccine, which Fauci said should take years to properly test. Is Trump lying?

Perhaps, at least in the beginning. But in a press briefing on April 1, 2020, when asked how long it would take (e.g., weeks, or months,) Fauci said,

“Yeah, no, it takes at least months. At least months. At least. So, I mean, that’s the reason why you’re seeing a lot of activity with drugs that already exist for other purposes, because they’re already there. But the drugs that you want to show in a good randomized clinical trial, at very best, they’re going to take months.”

I am not sure what Fauci said before or after that, since he was all over the place.

>>I was quite vocal on this site that the Covid was overhyped and no worse than the flu. Scamdemic. What Trump unleashed on us was horrible. Lockdowns. Free rent by EO. No student loans by EO. Ventilators that killed countless by EO. New policies that allow fast tracking of all drugs now. Not stopping gain of function, or ever even mentioning the words. And not one regret.<<

I try to stay out of the weeds. I was a victim of Covid, spending 4 weeks in ICU, and 4 more weeks in a rehabilitation hospital. I was scheduled to go on a ventilator within a few days after being admitted (almost certain death for someone my age;) but by the grace of God my O2 requirement reversed, and I began to recover. My lungs will be scarred for the rest of my life, but I am able to do things I never thought I could do again.

Do I blame Trump. Hell no! I blame the bioweapon labs, that is, those who own and operate them.

With that aside, one thing I will never forget is Trump won the 2020 election by at least 30 million votes, but had the presidency stripped from him by deep-state coup. Trump scares the daylights out of those gangsters because they know he can not only expose them, but even jail them, and, most of all, derail their gravy train.

>>>>I, too, thought that was pretty dumb.
>>It wasn’t dumb, it IS evil to support gay marriage. Sort of like satan, since you brought up the comparison?

I am continually reminded of these words of wisdom: “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.”

I certainly did not agree with Trump on that point, but I am focused on the big picture. More generally, I support anyone the left hates, since everything the left does is in opposition to God; and there is no one on the planet that the left hates more than Trump.

>>Yes, Trump and his supporters have attacked DeSantis for simply saying those that broke the law deserve to be punished. This is conservative thinking. Yet in Trump’s world, people smashing into the capital and taking selfie’s in the Speaker’s office are heroes. How would you have felt if Al Gore had a riot on the day of the elector vote and a black man had pictured himself at Newt Gingrich’s desk. Hero, or outlaw?

I have heard similar arguments from the left. In fact, one of my acquaintances — a die-hard NPR groupie — used exactly those arguments in condemning Trump.

We still do not have all the evidence, but I believe that when it is made available we will see that the J6 so-called “insurrection” was a planned false flag operation. We keep the J6 political prisoners in our continuous prayers.

>>>>DeSantis is our governor, and he has done a great job.
>>Your wife called him DeSatan, which I objected to.

If he is in bed with those financially backing him, which appears to be so, then that is an appropriate label.

>>Based on all these long posts you are still standing by that, sadly. I ask you again, compare the two men using the Bible as your reference. Ready to go down that road in detail?

You bet.

voter fraud

Are you aware Trump collected $250 Million under the pretense it would be used to secure elections, but has since used that money for everything else under the sun except securing elections? I defended him here in January of 2021, when some Freepers were claiming that Trump would sneak off with that money and do nothing to secure elections, but turns out they were right, which played a big part in me no longer trusting Trump.

endless litigation

So Trump is 100% innocent in your eyes, on everything he's being investigated over right now? You have no issue with him asking the Governor of Georgia to "recalculate"and "find" him 11,000 votes? No issues with him taking classified documents home he claims he declassified, but never submitted any documentation for any of it? No issues with disrupting the electoral college vote when he already knew the vote count and that Pence wasn't going to stretch the interpretation of the Constitution in ways even evil Democrats hadn't tried yet? What about the woman accusing him of rape, who bears such a resemblance to Trump's first wife he couldn't tell the difference in pictures of them during his deposition? Just walk up, and grab them by the _____ right? Isn't that his famous quote? Sound like satan, or are you still insisting that's DeSantis?

even buying the support of a well-known conservative to oppose him.

So you're still not willing to admit that DeSantis is to the right of Trump, on vaccines, lockdowns, LGBTQ support, deficit spending, etc? You can't accept that DeSantis and others like me might have left Trump over the issues?

he is the only one who is not beholden to the left (which includes RINOs) — that is, he cannot be bought!

Trump's has been completely dependent on foreign banks financing him, through countless bankruptcies. Duestche Bank has been his main source, from Germany, well known for Russian investors and money laundering. George Soros, the Rothschilds, all prominent in bailing Trump out or financing his new buildings. Even the Chinese helped setup his new Truth Social company, does that sound like someone who is independently wealthy? No, because he is not, it's simply another fable he's built around himself.

Perhaps DeSatan was a little harsh.

A little, when compared to the narcissistic serial adulterer married 3 times now Trump? Who said in an interview he never asks for forgiveness? Who even thinks something like that, much less say it out loud?

Do I blame Trump. Hell no! I blame the bioweapon labs, that is, those who own and operate them.

I'm glad you were able to recover. However, why are you not outraged that gain of function research was re-instated in 2018 under Trump's administration? Why are you not outraged that he's never even mentioned the words "gain of function" but has instead only ever tried to blame China, when they were doing contract work for HIS administration? Why are you not outraged that he never issued an EO to block gain of function? And are you aware he tried to install Bill Gates as the Chief Scientist of the White House? Gates turned him down, but Trump tried.

If he is in bed with those financially backing him, which appears to be so

Based on what? I just gave you specific examples of Trump's FOREIGN sources of all his money, including George Soros. Your phantom donors to DeSantis are worse?

You bet.

You are really going to try to claim Trump has lived a more morally Biblical life than DeSantis? How?

I really don’t think any of this is getting through to you, you seem set in your ways that “only Trump” is worthy of anyone’s support, despite all his horrible appointments and decisions to support vaccines, lockdowns, queers, and the Cloward Piven bankrupting of America. You’ve fallen prey to his Wizard of Oz act.

I think this article sums it up well. Once again, who even thinks like this, much less says it out loud? Yet DeSantis is satan?

Donald Trump: ‘I could shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose any voters’

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/jan/24/donald-trump-says-he-could-shoot-somebody-and-still-not-lose-voters

Republican frontrunner is so supremely confident that he believes he could commit murder and maintain his lead over his opponents.

Trump, the New York billionaire and former reality TV star who has been virtually impervious to attacks from his opponents, pushed the limits of his political rhetoric again in Sioux Center, Iowa.

“I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose any voters (Kalamata etc)” he said.

Trump has become a hard target to criticise because not all of his supporters are conservatives, and many are most interested in his projection of strength, not where he stands on a particular issue.
