So DeSantis has not announced anything about running for President, and Donald Trump contiunaly tries to pick a fight with him but you assert DeSantis is splitting the base ?

Well you’re right I guess. Assuming he hasn’t surrounded himself with anti Trumpers. Or made big money deals with the same. I don’t see why Trump continues to attach him. I thought DJT welcomed all primary contestants. These stories with Desantis in the same sentence as Pence or skipping the Convention are no doubt designed to negatively influence the base.
