But maybe we and Europe think this is Russia trying to expand westward. Do we let them expand by taking over parts of Ukraine which would then motivate them to take another step?
It’s like WW3 in slow motion with America supplying everything but soldiers, but no one dares call it a world war. Better to portray it is helping Ukraine.

As usual for wars, the goal is giving taxpayers money to the war industry. The people voting for funding get a cut, through campaign donations and other ways.
