A good chuck of people who so hate Putin today were or would have been all for Gorbachev in the 1980s.
Me, I never liked Putin’s old boss, nor do I like Putin today. I do not like, however, this stupid, entirely avoidable war, support for which become a leftist shibboleth.
I pretty much have contempt for politicians and world leaders. I really do not hate or blame all the people of other countries because I have seen how little control we have here in America when these leaders cheat, lie, and screw over the people.
I repeatedly have stated that there is no "good guy" in this fight. I'll root for the little guys who've been invaded by the bully, am OK with SELLING them arms and supplies, but object to a government hand in my pocket diverting some of my income to GIVE them stuff.
