Who would suspect like most people with a brain do that these balloons move very well have not been spy balloons actually why in the hell would a country with 100 satellites looking at us all day every day use a wind driven no controllable direction other than the jetstream balloon to spy

A better use for a balloon would be to deliver a payload of some sort. Spy Satellites these days can read the date on a dime. Don't be fooled by the blurry photos they release for human consumption.

They have retrieved what they could get from that balloon if it were spy gathering material they would have it on the nightly news touting it
