This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it is not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

This January’s rate of deficits would wipe out the Russian Government’s once huge (in percentage terms) financial and gold reserves completely by Christmas, if it continues.

Hummm. Maybe China won’t have to invade to get Siberia - they can just buy it.

Mediazona and BBC News Russian, together with a group of volunteers, have confirmed the deaths of 14,093 Russian servicemen killed in the Ukraine war before February 12. They arrived at this total using only public records and other open sources.

Compare that to more than 150,000 dead on the Ukrainian side.
Kazan is the name of a city in RuZZia.
Is that where you live?
Big jump in tank kills for tomorrows report.
RuZZian boys are being slaughtered.
I think RuZZia’s Spring offensive may have already peaked.
“Pentagon: First Ukrainian troops finish training on U.S. Bradley combat vehicle”
“The first group of Ukrainian soldiers completed training this week on the U.S.-supplied M2 Bradley Fighting Vehicle at the Army’s Grafenwoehr Training Area in Germany, U.S. military officials said Friday.
In early January, the White House announced that the Pentagon would be providing Ukrainian troops with the armored Bradley vehicles, which offer better protection and firepower than other armored personnel carriers in the inventory.
More than 630 Ukrainian soldiers completed the five-week training program on how to operate the M2 Bradley in combat. The instructions also included basic soldier tasks like marksmanship and medical training and a final battalion-level force-on-force exercise, Pentagon officials said Friday.”

“The US believes that 9,000 Wagner Group fighters were killed in Ukraine
90% of these fighters were convicts”
“Given the fact that the US estimated 50,000 Wagner Group fighters in total with 40,000 convicts, this fatality rate and an additional 21,000 injured suggests a near-obliteration of Prigozhin’s prisoner army in Bakhmut
A reason why prison recruitments might have been halted”

“Maybe China won’t have to invade to get Siberia - they can just buy it.”
That is roughly the likely outcome of Putin’s folly, to a greater or lesser degree. The Chinese Yuan is rapidly becoming King in Russia. Like other countries with natural resources to extract, China will go in with their Belt and Road Initiative debt trap deals, and end up controlling the valuable assets there in a few years, for pennies on the dollar.
Smart Siberians (and Muscovites) who can’t leave, would be well advised to start learning to read Chinese characters now. They take a lot of work to learn, compared to phonetic alphabets.
"BAKHMUT AXIS /0010 18 FEB/ RU units appear to have finally taken Krasna Hora, and have advanced into the adjacent town of Paraskoviivka. A RU airstrike hit Berikhivka; this failed to dislodge UKR defenders, who continue hold the M-03 HWY and the Bakhmut urban area."
“me being invested in energy”...
Heavy Venezuelan crude supply is now restarting into the US, which should place some downward pressure on prices. The heavy Russian crude that replaced the Venezuelan in those Gulf Coast refineries set up for that kind of oil, now has to be re-replaced by the Venezuelan stuff, because of the Ukraine War.
OilPrice.com reports (https://oilprice.com/Latest-Energy-News/World-News/US-To-Receive-3-Million-Barrels-Of-Venezuelan-Crude-Oil-In-February.html ):
“The United States is on track to receive nearly 3 million barrels of crude oil from Venezuela this month, according to shipping documents seen by Reuters.
Chevron is on track to ship 100,000 barrels of Venezuelan crude oil per day into the United States as part of a license it received from the U.S. Treasury Department that gives it a limited pass to move sanctioned oil, after a three-year ban.
Since obtaining its license, Chevron has exported Venezuelan crude oil for use in its Pascagoula, Mississippi, refinery, and has sold some to Phillips 66 and Valero Energy, shipping documents show—both in the United States.
Under Chevron’s limited authorization, profits from the sale of oil and petroleum products would go to paying down PDVSA’s debt to Chevron and not boosting state-run PDVSA’s profits.
Venezuela’s heavy crude oil is prized by U.S. refiners, who, until recently, looked to Russia’s heavy crude to replace it.”
Once again, Poland deserves to be glorified. They are heroes in this titanic struggle, and have earned my enduring respect.

He said the benefit would be that the Ukrainian pilots are “ready to fly immediately on MiGs””

Weather (God) seems to be on the side of Ukraine and the West.
The mild Winter defused Putin’s energy weapon, and the early Mud Season will hamper Russia’s window of offensive opportunity, before the new Ukrainian Counter-Attack Corps is ready to liberate territory.

Day 359 of my 3 day war. I do offensives a bit like I do sex. It takes a long time to get ready, it doesn’t go very deep, doesn’t last that long, and it is offensive to the victim who says “is that it?”
I remain a master strategist.
"According to the source of photos (@UAWeapons) - Russian tanks destroyed by some new, unknown, Ukrainian UAV. It is said to be a large drone equipped with a powerful drop munition. “The munition is so powerful that it is capable of smashing a small building or military equipment into pieces.”"
(These tanks are not just merely dead, they are really quite sincerely dead - Good shooting, whatever did it)

“Friendly fire (fratricide) continues to be a large problem for Russian units on the frontlines in Ukraine.
Often I see reports of separate Russian mobilised units firing at each other with small arms or mortars sometimes for days only to figure out after.”
Institute for the Study of War’s Russian Offensive Campaign Assessment, 17 Feb 23:
Key Takeaways
-The Kremlin will likely subsume elements of Belarus’ defense industrial base (DIB) as part of Moscow’s larger effort to reequip the Russian military to support a protracted war against Ukraine.
-Lukashenko confirmed that Belarus has implemented more Union State integration programs - marking progress in the Kremlin’s decades-long pressure campaign to formalize the Russian-Belarusian Union State.
-The Kremlin’s gains in Belarus underscore that Putin’s imperialistic ambitions transcend Ukraine and that containing the Russian threat requires the West’s sustained attention.
-The Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD) confirmed the names of the four military district commanders, finalizing a complete turnover of the Russian military’s initial command since the start of the invasion of Ukraine.
-Wagner Group financier Yevgeny Prigozhin appears to be mounting an informational counteroffensive against the conventional Russian military establishment.
-Russian forces continued offensive operations along the Svatove-Kreminna line.
-Russian forces continued ground attacks around Bakhmut, in the Donetsk City-Avdiivka area, and in western Donetsk Oblast.
-Russian and Ukrainian military activity near Nova Kakhovka, Kherson Oblast indicates that Russian forces are likely deployed to positions close bank of the Dnipro River.
-The United Kingdom Ministry of Defense (UK MoD) reported that Russian forces have likely suffered up to 200,000 casualties since the start of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
-Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a variety of laws on February 17 to integrate occupied territories into Russian legal, economic, and administrative structures.
