This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it is not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

“During the second wave of attacks, the Russians decided to save armored vehicles and sent more infantry into the fields”
Sooo RuZZZian.
I thought Putin banned pronouns in Russia.

12.02 🇺🇦 Vuhledar - 17:30 update
The enemy made another fruitless attempt to advance with several tanks through the minefield. Throughout the day even more vehicles and assaulting infantry groups have been eliminated, few POW’s were captured.”

“Multiple Ukrainian sources talk about a RU sabotage group caught in Bakhmut. According the reports, Bakhmut will be closed of to Civilians, reporters and aid workers from tomorrow.”
“I think there is another reason. I think they are about to shut down communications in preparation for a withdraw. It could also be a counter attack, but I would not bet on it.”

If there are NK forces in the combat arena, I would expect they would be used in combat support positions, such as digging ditches or loading/unloading supplies.
The NKs would not be russian speakers and would have to have an interpreter nearby.
“Magyar from Bakhmut: from tomorrow, the city administration closes access to civilians and press to protect their safety. The enemy continues with regular attempts to encircle the city, but the city remains under Ukrainian control.”

Other than that, its the use of vehicles close together in columns, troops bunched up in a line that is causing lots of losses.
But nevertheless, Russian Command, because of its structure, is incapable of changing, and these sorts of large losses will continue.

As BeauBo posted yesterday, some of the vehicles contain high ranking RU commanders, such as Col. Sergey Polyakov.

Why was Col. Sergey Polyakov's command vehicle part of the "attack"?
Why wasn't his vehicle 30 miles behind the FEBA?
Perhaps RU is running low on battlefield drones, such as ORLAN-10s.
The only way Col. Sergey Polyakov could control the attack (RU doctrine) is by observing the battle using binoculars.
So, one has to be a RU General in order to get your own ORLAN-10.
I would not want to be a RU Colonel or below.
“Not even the most basic rules of warfare are known to these Russian soldiers near Vuhledar. One by one drives into minefields and trashes its armored vehicle. Absolutely astonishing incompetence.”

I was peacefully scrolling through the feed when all of a sudden, the annoying, daily Maksym and Boryslav Show popped up on it like a blight. 🤮
Orlan-10s belong to the artillery and no one can take them away including generals.
His vehicle was part of the attack because he was ordered to be part of it - that’s’ the Soviet Way.
I did not know that. Shocking.
Does Ru have any other battlefield observation drones?

Yes but I don’t remember their names.
Reports Ukrainian Tochka-U missile just hit mobilized Russians barracks near occupied Mariupol.

Perhaps UKR Special Forces drove the launch vehicle to within 75mi of Mariupol.
They then launched the Tochka-U missile and abandoned the vehicle.
They then E&E back to the friendly side of the FEBA.
BeauBo, I wonder if our friend Chuck will have any info on this attack later this week.
Mariupol is less than 50 miles from UAF held Vuhledar, so plenty of Ukraine territory to launch from.
Berlin: Conservatives projected to win repeated vote
Voters returned to polling booths across the German capital after a botched 2021 election was declared invalid. More voters picked the center-right CDU than any other party, but its candidate may not get to be mayor.
