I love Trump, but I am not part of a cult. I am for Ron, but if he chooses not to run, I will vote for Trump against any of the other prospects.
Now, hopefully Desantis is serious about this, unlike his threat against Disney…. How much did Disney contribute to Desantis inauguration???
I like DeSantis. He’s not afraid to use his power to push back at the left.
That is one of my points. The thing about it is that it makes perfect sense to anyone who has no fear that the media will target him/her. To anyone who - like all six Republican-nominated justices now sitting on SCOTUS - knows what it’s like to have “the media” launch on you, and has very little support, the Sullivan decision is insane.
Further, I make the point that “the media” can actually be named in a lawsuit. The defendants should be, “the AP and its member news outlets, joint and several liability.” The NY Post and the Fox News Channel undoubtedly belong to that group, but would easily slip out of it by pointing out their innocence of the charge which properly lies against essentially everyone else in that group.
That approach would leave small fry out of the line of fire.
He’s taken away Disney’s autonomy, choosing his own board to run teh Reedy Creek Improvement District.
