My 27 year-old grandson (diesel mechanic) just bought his second house, keeping the first as a rental which is going to cash flow $400 a month. He’s done all of this with no help and his wife is a stay-at-home mom.
This stuff isn’t as hard as people want to believe.

The amount of stuff that can go wrong owning rentals boggles the mind—and newbies get to learn all the lessons the hard way.
For a 27 year old it is not a bad idea—good way to get a real world education—and avoid bigger disasters in future years.
