China has the same problems we have in the form of gen y,z etc. Covid killed the idea of loyalty to the state. The youth will not lead the charge of invasion, they want to game, lay flat and enjoy life.
The conquest of war is now via immigration. China takes the eastern flank of russia, america via the southern peoples, europe via the africa/middle east, all live and on tv

I don’t think so. In all likelihood, mid-day one day US headlines will be awash with “Taiwan Government Falls” as those on that island awake to a new reality.
The CCP has had >30 years to prepare; one day they’ll just take over and CCP soldiers will be enforcing ‘business as usual’ to keep the money flowing.
The greater question is whether they’ll sink the US ships that our Biden government later sends through the strait...

This is not directed at anyone in particular, but please shout out if you’re willing to send YOUR SON to die for Taiwan. I am happy not to send my 23 year old.
China will use other means to take Taiwan. Political, buy off a party in Taiwan, get it elected, and they will VOTE to become part of china—few lives lost (save for a few assassination). The Chinese army will come by airplane. Treachery works as good as armies and is cheaper too.
About the only thing to keep China in check is to keep the them broke it will put a major kink their war machine.
Better minds than mine know how to on that question.
The Chinese “spy balloon” could well have been something else …a bio weapons delivery system. The balloon passed over large parts of the agricultural heartland and could have been spreading bio weapons attacking crops and livestock. Will we soon see stunted crops and mysteriously dying livestock?

Great point. Who knows what payload the one-ton balloon was carrying? It was a perfect transport vehicle for all sorts of diabolical material.
There is obviously much more beyond China and Taiwan in play here, with many prime evildoers in the West.
