Wyoming continues to be the fossil-fuel burr in President Joe Biden’s green energy saddle.
Last week, according to Politico, state officials in Wyoming dismissed the Biden administration’s plan to build charging stations for electric vehicles because so few state residents actually own EVs.

Batteries have a very hard time in the extreme cold that Wyoming and the upper Midwest experience in the Winter.
Somebody be messing with kickbacks to dc politicians

Don’t put it in reverse.
It will be a Disaster.
How about Nevada? I have a couple places I go hiking, gold prospecting and so forth. Will Biden install charging stations in those very rural places so I might use an EV to get there and back?
Deep State doesn’t care.
EVs aren’t about saving the planet any more than CoupFlu policy is about protecting public health.
Charging stations should be mainly at businesses so people don’t twiddle their thumbs waiting for their Tesla to charge.
Government should not subsidize any business.
EV’s. What an expensive joke. And yes, I’ve driven / tested a VW ID-4 when left with us for 7 months. In-laws drink that Kool Aid....
Drove it 2000+ miles. Two overnight trips with destinations 250-300 miles away. Two charges each way necessary to arrive with sufficient juice and be able to get back to a station.
Home charging is very slooooooow. Unless one installs a special station.
Cost per mile was surprisingly high using ElectrifyAmerica (EA) stations. Charge time was 20-45 minutes using the DC fast charge stations.
Had to go out of my way to find them. Some would not work. Had to wait. Got cussed at because I didn’t get back to the car fast enough after charge was full at a WalMart. (The EA app sends a notification when the charge is complete-I was back in under 10 minutes after notification. Wasn’t fast enough for the entitled, woke, libtards waiting. We had words, but no “action” from soyboy husband. haha).
Can’t wait to read about the EV CF that will come from the hurricane evac.
Just say no.
I went to town to get food for the week. I parked near the only electric charging spot in the county ( that I know of), There was one of those new electric mustangs charging and the owner was sitting in waiting for it to charge. I just laughed. I went and got all my shopping done, which took an hour or so. The guy was still sitting there waiting for it to charge. This is what the future holds. hours, days, wasted for a bureaucratic wet dream. At the local gas station we can fill up in 5 minutes and go another 300 miles. But not anymore. We will all be in long long lines waiting for hours while our forced EVs charge.
When the plan is to destroy America and her economy, the elements of the plan don’t need to ‘make sense’.
pay me more than the price of the ev
and i would still tell them to shove it
dont want to encourage them
“Wyoming Explains Why Biden’s EV Charging Network Doesn’t Make Sense.”
Nothing Biden has ever said, thought, or done has ever made sense.
But Donny Lemondrop sure loves the dude and that has to account for something disgusting.
“Charging stations should be mainly at businesses so people don’t twiddle their thumbs waiting for their Tesla to charge.”
There is a row of about seven Tesla chargers at the far end of a shopping center parking lot here. Other than a Best Buy and a Dick’s Sporting Goods, there is nothing to do nearby. The nearest restaurant is quite a hike, and there are no coffee shops in the vicinity.
Read the article. Amazing on FR, I know…
Sounds like Wyoming made very good points, and said, “Fine, let’s install some EV charging stations, but let’s put them in smart locations where there will be more traffic and EV drivers.” But because it made sense to do that, the administration said, “Nope! You will do as you’re told, honkeys!”
Like that guy who wanted to charge his car but it would take a WEEK to charge it.
There’s no “one solution to every problem” in mobility.
Densely populated cities can use mass transit.
Suburbs and rural communities cannot.
I wonder what the batteries for these EV do in the 100+ F and 99% humidity days of summer in SE Texas/Louisiana. It can’t be good, that’s for sure.
There was an interesting picture on FR last week. The picture was of a AAA truck that is a portable charger. Looks like it’s an ICE version of the chassis.
At least the Air Force flies “tankers” that use the same fuel as its “customers” do.
Copper thieves will really appreciate their efforts.
Keep an eye open for cars with Illinois plates.
We will all be in long long lines waiting for hours while our forced EVs charge.
It will be worse than that. The Biden admin is going to spend $5 billion on charging stations. How many will be built in “Underserved communities” in the name of equity? Imagine having to wait for hours charging in those same communities.
