after the Pentagon’s disastrous decisions on Afghanistan withdrawal, the miscalculation on Russia’s Ukraine invasion, i guess we shouldn’t be surprised at another example of weakness. Joe has managed to define our level of accomplishment downward in every way - but he can’t take away our ability to assess and reason. this was another debacle - and if the Pentagon is responsible, Austin should be GONE.

I expected the Navy to have a swarm of PT boats(with external booms) stationed offshore South Carolina in the expected splash zone, and a few industrial submarines to collect sunken debris as what we had in the Oil industry (to inspect underwater pipelines for leakage and weightcoating condition). Sheesh, we were more competent in 1957 Air/Sea Rescue and Recovery Service in my USAF years at Tyndall AFB.
