the sound on these vids are strange... usually the “Boom” is several seconds after the contact. but this boom happened just as the 2 contrails from jet and missle appear individual. well before the baloon distorts and starts to fall.

No one else sees this??

Maybe Mr. 10% will have Hunters laptop to be shot down for the same reason to wipe out the evidence.

This was already a fail when it got within 5 miles of the west coast or northern US border.

Even worse.

From one article I read it came across Alaska and then through Canada.

A-A missiles do not boost the entire way. It may well have been changing altitude where contrail conditions come and go.

The fighter appears to be changing altitude as well.

I believe it was launched in north central China and then floated up to Alaska north of the Aleutian Islands. It could have been shot down over water while it was up there.

Who knows why it wasn’t shot down there or over Alaska or Canada (where it’s nothing but wilderness)?

Too romantic and too complicated. Just send a signal to detonate the sob when required intelligence has been received. Why wait till the sob descends? Just do it and raise the middle finger to America.

The reason I suggested what I did was to ensure destruction of the critical components in case the balloon is shot down. In that case the package starts to fall quickly and may fall into hostile hands, broken, soaked or otherwise. If the equipment self destructs on the way down, then the hostile power gets very limited information from the wreckage and the wreckage is spread over a larger region.

>>Just in time to beat his chest for the State of the Union speech.<<

He may not even take his pilot shades off just to impress AOC and Omar as he gestures with his hands how he approached the balloon in his F-22 and launched the missile. This guy is unreal. He may go in a diatribe against Trump and how Trump failed to shoot down the many Chinese balloons during his time in office.
