Maybe not “shoot” it, but definitely it should be retrieved somehow.
I’m hoping we’re not hearing anything because they don’t want to reveal much before they go to retrieve it.

It would be quite funny if this balloon actually is the highest level of spy tech the Chicoms have. All of those other satellites they have launched into space don’t actually work so they went low tech with this piece of junk.

I saw this today, pulled over and took this shot around noon. These appeared to be multiple jet contrails at real high altitude. I've seen thousands of contrails but never this many and all turning simultaneously. Could be training. I dunno. Several came from the south and west, joined together, then all made a sharp turn heading almost due east. I thought it was odd enough to take a shot.
