Yep, they all seem to have the same or very similar M.O.
They twist and distort our words and then argue the twisted points as if we stated them. They make false accusations against our character and even tell us what we believe and they do these things to keep us engaged in their twisted little conversations. Their comments are mostly devoid of any logic and are driven by emotion, anger being chief among that.
I’ve learned to have a little fun with them for a minute and then extricate myself from their nonsense. Their attempts to draw us back in after we walk away from their loopy conversations are hilarious and often tinged with desperation.
I’ve noticed that several of them use these same tactics, even the same accusations and phrases and I have to wonder if it’s in their training manuals.
