Mathematically this doesn’t make sense.

In any given year, week by week actually, deaths are expected to come in right on the button.

If excess deaths appear, they appear as a whole number, or as a percentage of the total deaths that were expected. Say, 20% over what was expected. That would be horrific in and of itself.

Where does a preposterous percentage number in the 5000s cone from?
