You do know that Steve Perry didn’t join until the fourth album, right? (Infinity, 1978) They started going away from jazz fusion, which drove drummer Aynsley Dunbar out of the band.

No, didn’t know that. And to be fair, maybe that was the album I was traumatized by in college. Some skank I knew played it over and over ad nauseum. It scarred me for life. Yes, to this day. Can’t stand them.
