I read all the way down the thread to here and did not see a single reference to hip-hop. How can you use music and annoying in a sentence and not add hip-hop.

Hip-hop absolutely is music - the music of primitive savages. It is the musical expression of troglodytes with underdeveloped forebrains, primitive peoples who lack any kind of advanced culture or civilization. It’s the best they can do, given their limited cognitive abilities.
Now I happen to like certain savage kinds of music - those that express some basis in civilization and need some talent. Heavy metal comes to mind, a sort of bastard cousin of classical music.
