Simple solution: drop Direct TV.
Going internet TV instead of sat tv was the smartest move I’ve made in a while.
After 23 years of having Directv I called and told them to cancel my account after this billing cycle. I have dropped down four channel packages since this sleigh ride began. I have a dvr and a mini and no premium channels and they wanted $107 a month. I dropped down to a near bottom package and lost several channels we watched, no one was happy, especially the queen of the house.
We live in the mountains and Directv or Dish was our only options for TV until last summer when finally got Starlink and my adult kids told me to try steaming for a week for free on some of the streaming services and I found for around $45 I can watch all the programs I had been watching before. Unfortunately with Roku they offer Murder She Wrote for free, the queen of the house will binge this series. I think I left Hallmark hell for Murder She Wrote misery...
May I ask how you get tv on line? Until a couple days ago I watched ustvgo which let you watch a lot of TV for free including the 5 broadcast networks, many cable channels including TV Land, Country Music Channel and even a couple of premium channels: Cinemax and Starz. Help from anyone would be greatly appreciated.
