If we’re going to teach about slavery in schools, then also teach that it was black Africans who enslaved other black Africans before selling them to Arabs to be sold to white Europeans, and that Arabs and also enslaved white Europeans. But of course we can’t pollute children’s minds with the truth. Only with sexual depravity and racism.
Teach them that Lincoln supported an effort to make slavery permanent in the United States. Lincoln called for the passage of the Corwin Amendment.
Teach them that Union slave states kept slavery all through the Civil War, and did not end it in the North until 8 months after it had stopped in the South.
And that slavery is still happening; we just call it human trafficking now. It occurs around the world to people of all races, ages, sexes and religions. Until Jesus the Christ comes again, it will be just as present as is war, poverty and disease. It’s an ongoing battle that we must fight but that only He can eradicate.
