RE: But you don’t really believe that stuff, do you?
No way of knowing about the final answers so I try to stay somewhat open minded. Most people are set in their ways and opinions. As a conservative patriot I am, too, but on most things I am not so much.
I firmly believe in a loving God and I want to live in such a way as to join my wonderful wife in heaven and pray that she is there now. If there ever was an innocent, compassionate, loving and caring woman she was one. She died quietly at home with me February 26, 2022.
First of all: My sincere condolences!
I respect your belief in God, etc.
However, when such beliefs get oddly specific ("When you are baptized, a Guardian Angel is assigned to you; boys get male Guardian Angels, girls get female Guardian Angels; when a person dies, their Guardian Angel is given a six-week furlough and is then re-assigned; etc." - not saying that your particular beliefs are that detailed; this was only an example for illustrative purposes), then my bs-meter begins going wild.
Regards,
