Don’t get mad at me. Just reporting, not formulating.
And I never saw that show you mentioned.😇
I am not a Catholic but I heard the answer about no reassignment of guardian angels on Called to Communion, a TV and radio show on the EWTN network. I gather information from all kinds of sources whether I agree with them or not.
Here is the one who said it: (His website bio)
“I am a Catholic catechist, speaker, and writer living in Birmingham, Alabama. I also host the EWTN Radio Program Called to Communion. I grew up in the Presbyterian Church (PCA) and attended a Protestant college and seminary. During my Ph.D. studies in Reformation History, I became persuaded of the truth of the Catholic Faith. I entered the Church in 2003, along with my wonderful wife, Jill, and my (now) five children.”
Side note. Someone asked if the Pope becomes a victim of dementia and refuses to step down, is there any group at the Vatican who could make him leave. He said there is not.
Was only feigning annoyance!
But you don't really believe that stuff, do you?
I mean: Some guy with a PhD in Reformation History?! Who was originally a Presbyterian and is now a Catholic?! That makes him qualified to expound on how Guardian Angels are assigned?!
My reference to the cheezy t.v. show "Touched by an Angel" was intentional. There, too, one can find plenty of half-assed "explanations" about angels and their limitations and their "rules," etc.
All very entertaining, I'm sure - but not to be taken seriously.
Regards,
