The National Archives responded to House Oversight Chairman James Comer’s request for information related to Biden’s documents scandal.
Rep. Comer last week requested:
1. All documents retrieved from President Biden’s personal office at the Penn Biden Center.
2. . All internal documents and communications regarding the documents retrieved from President Biden’s personal office at the Penn Biden Center
3. A list of all people who had access to President Biden’s personal office at the Penn Biden Center
4. All documents and communications related to the handling of the classified material by President Biden’s personal lawyers — including but not limited to their security clearance status
5. All documents and communications between or among the White House and the Department of Justice or NARA [National Archives and Records Administration] regarding the documents retrieved from President Biden’s personal office at the Penn Biden Center.
The National Archives FINALLY responded to Rep. Comer on Tuesday night and said it has to consult with the Justice Department
“DOJ has advised it will need to consult with the newly appointed Office of Special Counsel (SCO) in DOJ, to assess whether information can be released without interfering with the SCO’s investigation,” Archivist Debra Steidel Wall wrote in the letter sent Tuesday night.
Ms. Wall lashed out at Republicans for accusing the National Archives of treating Biden’s document scandal differently than Trump.
Trump lawfully stored presidential records at Mar-a-Lago while Biden stole the classified documents and improperly stored them in his garage.
“Our action and responses with respect to both of these matters have been entirely consistent and without any political bias,” Wall wrote.
“NARA receives only the Presidential and Vice Presidential records that the departing administration provides us; we are never able to know whether we have ‘all’ such records,” Wall said.

I called that when they announced a special prosecutor for Biden.
I want to know when the “National Archivist” was given more power than the President or Congress as to what information can be released, what documents are “classified” and what documents they can demand that a President turn over to them upon their demand? Since when did the archivist have more power than even Congressional committees doing their oversight duties?
“Nothing to see here, move on.”
It’s (D)ifferent
O Rly Debra Steidel Wall?
Ever hear of oversight?
Thank you. Is the Biden SC Hurr or the other guy?
James Comer, the chairman of House Oversight Committee told Breitbart News it plans to probe the Biden administration’s reported plan to hide the classified document scandal from the American people.
According to the Washington Post on Thursday, the White House and Justice Department not only agreed to obscure the scandal from public view, but they also refused to divulge that the second trove of classified documents was already unearthed at Biden’s home in Wilmington when CBS News first contacted the White House about the initial leak of classified documents illegally stored at the Biden Penn Center.
“The Biden White House’s secrecy in this matter is alarming,” Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) told Breitbart News. “Many questions need to be answered but one thing is certain: oversight is coming.”
The White House, Justice Department, and National Archives have so far failed to respond to congressional demands for information related to the scandal.
The stonewalling has been amplified by the White House’s inconsistent timeline of events. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre falsely claimed on January 12 that the search for Biden’s classified documents was completed.
